Komatex PVC Foam Sheet (Sintra)

These foam sheets made of rigid FOAMED PVC are produced with a closed-cell matte surface. Komatex (also known as Sintra) sheets have a regular, fine-celled foam structure and are light in weight. They conduct very little heat and thus provide excellent insulation.

Komatex is suitable for printing, painting and lacquering and can be easily and economically worked with conventional tools. Due to their tough and rigid structure, they can be drilled and screwed without splitting. PVC foam can be bonded using Weld-On adhesives for vinyl.
Due to their weathering resistance, Komatex sheets in white can be used for outdoor applications. They are particularly suitable for the advertising industry-for signs, displays and exhibition stands. 

Availble thickness 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 6mm, and 13mm.

• High stiffness can be shaped much like wood
• Light weight -- half the weight of solid PVC in gauges of 1 - 6mm, slightly over one third the weight of solid PVC in 10mm and thicker gauges
